Can I take the glass water bottle with me in my hand luggage?

In principle, there is no EU regulation that prohibits taking glass drinking bottles into your hand luggage. It is up to the security personnel at the airport to judge whether your glass bottle could be misused as a weapon, but experience has shown that there are hardly ever any problems, as spirits in glass bottles from duty-free are also allowed on the plane.

Is the glass bottle suitable for children?

Assuming that hard plastic or aluminum bottles are almost as hard as glass bottles, in comparison, glass bottles do not pose a greater risk to children's teeth. Don't worry, the bottle will not crack from heat. If you have particularly hard water, you can also decalcify the bottle if necessary. Citric acid and/or vinegar essence are suitable for this purpose; you do not need chemicals to clean your water bottle.
