Thank you for your feedback! We're delighted that you like the hot chocolate drops. However, various factors can cause them to become bitter and hard when baked. Without sugar, the drops lack a sweetening balance, which is why the taste can become slightly more intense or even bitter at high temperatures. This may also be due to the longer baking time or high temperature. For chocolate cookies, it might be helpful to only mix in the drops briefly towards the end of the baking time so that they are not exposed to heat for too long.
