Are Cookie Dough protein bars suitable for diabetics?

Our protein bars contain no added sugar: Cookie Dough flavored protein bars are sweetened with sweeteners such as maltitol. Eating foods that contain maltitol instead of refined sugar causes blood sugar levels to rise less after they are eaten than when eating foods sweetened with sugar. Maltitol nevertheless affects blood sugar levels and, when consumed in large quantities, can have a laxative effect. So you can buy as a diabetic:in these protein bars, we still generally advise to enjoy everything in moderation.

How much protein do the cookie dough protein bars contain?

One bar consists of 32% protein, which corresponds to 19.2 g of pure protein for you. The DGE recommends a daily intake of 0.8 g of protein per kilogram of body weight.

Are protein bars good for weight loss?

We are not fans of making you empty promises that a protein bar cannot keep. First and foremost, a calorie deficit is necessary to lose weight. We mainly use maltitol to give your chocolate cookie protein bars their pleasantly sweet taste. Maltitol is a sugar alcohol that is harmless to health as long as you consume it in moderation - because maltitol still affects blood sugar levels and can have a laxative effect if consumed in large quantities. So you should not overdo it with the consumption of the chocolate protein bars.

Is the Moritz protein bar vegan or vegetarian?
