Wir haben unsere Praktis mit dem Geodreieck nachmessen lassen: Dieses Salz ist tatsächlich geformt wie kleine Pyramiden.

Psssst! Das Salz muss sich konzentrieren

Die Salzkristalle stammen aus Pakistan. Auf diesen Flächen, den sog. Salinen, wird das Meerwasser gesammelt. Hier lässt man so lange Wasser verdunsten, bis eine konzentrierte Salzsole übrig bleibt.

Wer im Glashaus sitzt

Die spannende Form bekommen die Kristalle durch ein spezielles Verfahren: Die konzentrierte Sole wird erhitzt, wodurch sich die Pyramiden-Form bildet. Zum Schluss kann sich das Salz bei einem Sonnenbad entspannen und trocknen.
