An absolute classic, which probably few prepare themselves. But the most Christmas spirit arises during baking!

Place flour, sugar, salt and speculaas spice in a bowl and whisk to combine.

Add the vegetable drink and margarine to the flour and knead with kneading picks or your hands.

Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Sprinkle flour on the work surface and roll out the dough 3 mm thin.

Preheat oven to 175 degrees top/bottom heat.

Cut the dough to the desired size with a knife or pizza roller and decorate with stamps or cookie shapes if desired. There are also extra speculoos molds.

Bake on a baking sheet for about 10 minutes.
