Pour vegetable drink into a large saucepan, stir in the raw cane sugar and bring the mixture to a boil.

Add the rice pudding, bring to the boil briefly, then cook over low heat, stirring, for about 20 minutes.

Remove rice pudding from heat and allow to swell to desired consistency for another 15 minutes or so.

Melt butter, hazelnut paste and caramel syrup in a small saucepan. Then set aside.

Wash and pit cherries. Bring water and sugar to a boil in another saucepan. Add the cherries. While stirring, let the water evaporate.

Pour the rice pudding into a deep plate, pour the hazelnut sauce and the cherry compote over it and decorate with chopped hazelnuts and fresh cherries.
