Admittedly, we may be trying to give you a new catchy tune here - but the infamous "Piña Colada Song" is playing on a continuous loop in our house (if you don't know the song, google it) and is our all-time favourite summer song! How well does our organic orange juice with coconut water go with it, please! Of course, we know that the basic Piña Colada recipe consists of rum, cream, pineapple juice and coconut syrup. The fact that only orange juice was added to our refreshing drink would be only half the truth. To ensure a diverse taste spectrum, we have also added sweet mandarin juice* and a dash of lemon juice* to counter the high acidity of the orange juice*. This trio of fruit juices is complemented by plenty of coconut water. Coconut what? Yes, we have added coconut water. Our coconut water is made from young coconuts that are harvested before they actually ripen. Depending on the degree of ripeness, these coconuts can contain up to half a litre of liquid, with a great and diverse range of flavours – from sweet to refreshing.

Was ist das Besondere an dem Bio Orangensaft mit Kokoswasser von KoRo?

Unser Bio Orangensaft mit Kokoswasser verknüpft Orangen-, Mandarinen- und Zitronensaft mit Kokoswasser aus grünen Kokosnüssen. Damit holst Du Dir einen Schluck Karibik nach Hause! Schmeckt wie Piña Colada, nur leichter, weniger süß und alkoholfrei.

Wie viele Früchte habt ihr bei der Herstellung ungefähr hinzugegeben?

Wirklich fruchtig-tolle Frage! In 1 L unseres Bio Orangensaft mit Kokoswasser sind etwa 3,5 Orangen, 1 Mandarine, 3 grüne Kokosnüsse und ein Schuss Zitronensaft. Coladatastisch!

Wie bewahre ich den Bio Orangensaft mit Kokoswasser auf und wie lange ist er haltbar?

In der ungeöffneten Originalverpackung und an einem kühlen, dunklen Platz gelagert, besitzt unser alkoholfreier Piña Colada eine Mindesthaltbarkeit von 18 Monaten.

Warum heißt die Kokosnuss eigentlich Kokosnuss?

Cocoole Frage! Dazu reisen wir zurück ins 16. Jahrhundert. Laut Überlieferung sollen die 3 auf der Kokosnuss vorhandenen Punkte Seefahrer aus Portugal mit einem lachenden Gesicht assoziiert haben. Im Portugiesischen wird ein lachendes Gesicht mit “coco” bezeichnet, was wiederum auf das spätlateinische Wort “coccus” zurückzuführen ist. Wörtlich übersetzt, spricht man hier von “Kern” oder “Beere”.

Wie viele Kokosnüsse können an einer Kokospalme im Jahr reifen?

Bis zu 200 Kokosnüsse können an einer einzigen Kokospalme pro Jahr reifen. Von Relevanz sind dabei natürlich das optimale Alter sowie der passende Standort. Diesen Produktionsprozess kann eine Kokospalme 15 bis 60 Jahre lang aufrechterhalten.
