Great snack with great variety

Almonds, cashews and walnuts are all time classic snacks thanks to their crunchiness, richness and flavour. They are also fantastic ingredients to prepare various fancy dishes. For example, use the walnuts and cashews to make a pesto with fresh rocket, garlic, parmesan, and olive oil. The walnut and cashew pesto is perfect for pasta and can also be used as a dip or spread. Alternatively, you can use the walnuts to make walnut and pumpkin ravioli. Fill ravioli dough with a mixture of pumpkin and chopped walnuts and serve the finished ravioli with a butter-sage sauce. Of course, we also have some recipe ideas for almond kernels. How about an almond-quinoa salad, for example? Mix cooked quinoa with roasted almonds, diced fresh tomatoes, bell peppers, or other vegetables of your choice and a lemon-olive oil dressing.
