Chestnuts as a snack

We've selected intensely flavoured chestnuts for our new autumnal snack. With this flavour and their pleasant texture, our chestnuts are delicious right out of the bag as a snack. If you prefer them warm, you can easily heat them in a pan, the microwave or in the oven. Nutritionally, they are a source of fibre with 4,5g of fibre per 100g and they have a low fat content (1,8g /100g)! They are a great alternative to our delicious nuts and also taste great dipped in nut butter.

Chestnut recipes

Don't you just love the smell of freshly roasted chestnuts at the Christmas market? In order to get to the delicious inside you have to open them, and the hot shell doesn't make that easy, but it's totally worth the effort! Did you know that you can roast chestnuts in the oven at home? To do this, preheat your oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat, place a heat-resistant bowl of water on the oven floor and, with a little force and care, cut a cross into the chestnut's shell. Then roast for 25-30 minutes and enjoy. With KoRo, you can save all that hard work!
