What is the first image that you associate with Canada? Probably its emblem, the maple leaf, and golden maple syrup poured over a stack of warm pancakes. But not only maple syrup is very popular in Canada; there is also the less famous maple cream. So far quite unknown in Europe, maple cream is seriously delicious and deserves more fame. Produced from maple syrup which is heated up to about 100°C (hotter than the boiling point of water!) and then cooled down to 52°C, maple cream is best consumed as a sweet and delicious spread. But you might also try baking with it, or even stirring it into your tea – or why not enjoying it straight out of the jar? We won't judge you.

What can I use the maple cream for?

Our maple cream is perfect as a sweet spread and is a great vegan alternative to honey. You can use the cream for baking, stir it into your tea or simply spoon it on its own!

What is the best way to store the cream of maple syrup?

After you have opened the jar, you should always make sure that it is tightly closed again after use. Otherwise, the maple cream will become increasingly solid due to the air supply. Store the cream in a cool and dry place. The minimum shelf life is 24 months from the date of production in the original sealed package. However, the jar will certainly be empty much sooner!
