The taste of white mulberries is very delicate, and their flesh is sweet and juicy. They are mostly to be found in their dried version, as they don't stay fresh long and spoil quickly.

Originally native to Asia and North America, mulberry trees need warmth to thrive. Since mulberries grow at different speeds, they are not harvested and dried or processed, and sold at the same time. China has the largest cultivation of mulberry trees, with a total of 626,000 hectares. Apart from this, there is hardly any data on the production volumes of mulberries, and our map describes the estimated cultivation of mulberry trees in hectares.

Our organic black mulberries come from Turkey. There, the mulberries are dried after harvesting. Then they are packed and arrive directly to your home.

With 336 kcal per 100 g, the black mulberries have a slightly lower energy content than their lighter counterpart with 381 kcal per 100g.
