What makes this jam so special?

Our black cherry spread consists of just three ingredients: black cherries, sugar and the vegan gelling agent pectin. The fruit content of 90% ensures an intense and fruity cherry taste. On top of that, the spread is purely plant-based and super versatile!

Are fruit spreads always vegan?

Often, but actually not always! According to the German jam regulation, sugar and honey may be added; juice can also be used to make jams. Gelatine can also be used to clarify these juices – but it doesn't have to be listed among the ingredients, since it is a processing aid that is not actually contained in the end product.
