Colourful over beige: the only exception to this rule of thumb is our KoRo label! What this translates to is, for example, whole grain bread with peanut butter and fruit rather than white bread and margarine, and porridge with seeds rather than simple overnight oats with no toppings. Sometimes things have to be quick, we get that! But ideally, you should aim for a balanced meal whenever you can, making sure that all macronutrients are there – carbohydrates, proteins, fibre, and fats. When it comes to fats, you should prefer unsaturated fats over saturated: this means, nuts and avocado rather than salami or margarine. And, of course: less sugar is always a wise idea! Lastly, you should always remember to drink plenty of water. Phew, that's quite a lot of rules, and so early in the morning.
