Buy now: Organic lupins in salt water 190g

As a KoRo connoisseur, you would of course expect us to get into merchandising now, wouldn't you? Our organic lupins are not about shirts or caps à la Arsène Lupin, but about pulses. And these pulses are anything but thieves! Quite the opposite: you can simply enjoy our lupins - packed with protein and fibre on top for free! They provide you with their incredible nutritional values and taste really fine on top of that. They have a slightly nutty taste and a creamy consistency, just like soy beans. Are you interested in the bean? Then buy lupins now!

In our assortment: lupins, lupin coffee, lupin protein

We love lupins. They can not only be eaten as a whole legume, but can also be used in salads or in vegetable chili. Use our lupin protein as a vegan alternative to whey protein in your after-workout shake. And our lupin coffee allows you to enjoy your coffee around the clock without getting too hyped up, because it is caffeine-free, but tastes just as good as brown gold! Small but mighty, long live lupins!

Order organic lupins in a jar

Did you know that lupins are the seeds of the plant of the same name and that they belong to the papilionaceous family? Chickpeas, soy beans or peanuts are also part of the same family. You can use the lupins in the same ways, as a great topping on your salad, make falafel and much more. Try making a chili sin carne or a warming stew with lupins instead of kidney beans! Roast them in the oven with some spices as a delicious and lower calorie alternative to roasted peanuts for when you are lying on the couch. Chilling on the couch is pretty nice, but the lupins have it even better: they come swimming in salt water, completely naked! Our lupins in salt water come without any additives, just as God made them. For you, this means: super relaxed lupins with a fine salty touch. Buy our organic lupins now, open the jar and enjoy!

The jar contains only ingredients that do not naturally contain gluten. However, since we lack meaningful studies on this, we do not declare the product as gluten-free. If you suffer from gluten intolerance or celiac disease, please clarify the consumption with your doctor beforehand.
Yes, lupins from the jar are vegan.
Whether as a powder in your protein shake or cooking in the crock pot, lupins provide a very good, natural source of protein.
Our lupins are not only organic - they are also free of additives. You'll find nothing in the jar but lupins floating in a salt and water mixture. That doesn't just sound good, it is!
No part of the lupine should be eaten raw, unless you are using lupine seeds that have been specially designed for germination.
Some may ask what is the lupine at all. It is a native legume, which is very frugal and does well without fertilizers and much intervention of the gardener. Therefore, the cultivation is almost automatically sustainable.
On average, 100 grams of lupins contain 94 calories(kcal) according to the nutritional value table.
Dogs should not eat lupins, as they contain substances toxic to them. If you have any questions about it, we recommend that you seek advise from your veterinarian.

Healthy chip substitute

The lupins taste good, but could be saltier. But basically a great healthy snack in the evening.

Bitter and unpalatable

I am a big fan of all pulses. But these lupins taste awful and leave my tongue feeling strangely numb.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend them at all :(

Bitter...unfortunately not edible

Unfortunately, the lupins are bitter and leave a kind of numbness on the tongue. Really not edible!

Bitter and soft - unpalatable

I know lupins from southern countries and was looking forward to a vacation flashback - unfortunately not. Den. These lupins taste very bitter in the aftertaste and are mealy soft. Nothing like the lupins from Italy, what a shame!

Simply good.

Very fine, not too salty like other lupins in a jar. As an aperitif, in salads, a great source of protein.

Inedible, bitter !

As someone who doesn't normally waste food, I unfortunately had to dispose of this tin as the contents were completely inedible. The lupins were bitter and not at all tasty.
