Wie kommt die Brezel in Form?

Wie eine große Brezel entsteht kann sich jeder vorstellen: Teig anrichten, einen Strang rollen und die Form von Hand schlingen. Aber das in Miniformat und millionenfach scheint unrealistisch? Vor rund 60 Jahren war es tatsächlich der Weg - da wurden aber auch nicht ansatzweise so viele Brezeln genascht… Also wie wird das heute gemacht? Unsere Brezeln werden in Frankreich hergestellt, wie erfährst Du im nächsten Abschnitt.

Minibrezelherstellung im Großformat

Alle Zutaten werden vom Brezelbäcker in eine Rührmaschine gegeben und der entstandene Teig anschließend von einer großen Walze zu einem dünnen Band gerollt. Aus diesem werden, wie beim Plätzchen backen, tausende Brezeln ausgestochen. Diesen Schritt übernimmt eine spezielle Brezelstanzmaschine. Anschließend werden die filigranen Teigschläuche in Lauge gebadet, mit Salz gewürzt und im Ofen gebrutzelt. Step one ist geschafft!

Salzig UND Süß

Da uns der herzhafte Geschmack noch nicht reicht legen wir noch eine Schippe drauf oder besser drumherum: Jetzt kommt der Schokomantel. In einer Fabrik in Leerdam in den Niederlanden werden die Brezeln per Hand auf ein Laufband positioniert. Dieses Laufband fährt auf direktem Weg ins Paradies: in einen riesigen Schokowasserfall. Die Zartbitterschokolade wird warm und flüssig aus Belgien geliefert und verwandelt unseren Brezeln in eine unwiderstehliche Mischung aus süß und salzig.

Träume können nicht wahr werden? Dieser hier schon! Auf der anderen Seite der Überzugsmaschine kommen unsere schokoummantelten Brezelträume zum Vorschein. Anschließend heißt es warten bis die Schokolade fest wird und endlich sind die Leckerbissen bereit für den letzten Weg, der beim Anblick dieses Fotos sicher direkt in Deinen Warenkorb führt!
